John Ruff

John graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Management with a minor in Accounting and Real Estate emphasis in May of 2020. Originally from Saluda, SC, John has been a resident of the upstate since 2016 and a permanent resident of Anderson since 2020.
Growing up John spent his entire life involved working with his family in the agricultural industry. The instilled values of hard work have carried over into his career in the Commercial Real Estate industry. Early in his career, John has handled a variety of different roles within McCoy Wright including brokerage, leasing and development. John has worked with numerous national retailers on our development projects, has serviced national tenants in site selection, brokered several different industrial transactions and has played a key role in many faucets of the Commercial Real Estate industry.
He is a member of the Western Upstate Board of REALTORS®, South Carolina Association of REALTORS®, National Association of REALTORS® and the International Council of Shopping Centers. John spends most of his free time back in Saluda hunting, fishing, spending time on Lake Murray as well as with his Boykin Spaniels.
