Nancy Lu McCoy-Wright

Nancy Lu is a graduate of Clemson University and an Anderson native. She has continued her education in the fields of real estate, finance, and investment. The company considers her to be a Founder as she has worked in all aspects of the business through three generations.

Her grandfather T. Ree McCoy, Sr., began a construction and real estate development corporation in Anderson in 1952. Nancy Lu’s father, T-Ree McCoy, Jr., worked alongside his father until T. Ree, Sr.’s death in 1964 at which time T. Ree, Jr. carried the business forward with residential and commercial construction and development.

In 1977 Nancy Lu married John B. Wright, Sr., and in 1980 T. Ree, Jr. and John founded McCoy Wright Realty, Inc. which specialized in residential brokerage. By 1995, John as Owner and Broker in Charge made the decision to specialize exclusively in commercial and investment real estate which it continues to do today. She is a South Carolina licensed real estate broker.

Nancy Lu is excited that all three of her children have continued in the “family” real estate tradition in Anderson. The entire family has a passion and love for the community that has been so good to their family with each having the desire to continue to make this the best place to work, live and raise their families. Their oldest child Ria Hydrick and husband Matt Hydrick have a residential brokerage firm (Real Estate by Ria), younger daughter Luisa Webster worked with McCoy Wright for 10 years as Chief Financial Officer but is currently taking time off with her young family, and son John B Wright, Jr. has assumed the role as President and Owner of McCoy Wright in 2020 as it became a 4th generation family business.

Nancy Lu and John reside in Anderson, SC and have been married for 46 years. In addition, to their grown children, they and have nine grandchildren. They are members of NewSpring Church in Anderson.
